As a Safety Clerk, you will play a key role in supporting a safe and compliant manufacturing environment by maintaining critical safety programs, documentation, training records, and compliance activities. You will partner closely with production, leadership, and safety teams to promote a strong safety culture, support continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure adherence to company and regulatory standards. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on employee safety and operational excellence every day. How You Will Make an Impact Coordinate and maintain safety training programs for manufacturing employees, including onboarding, certification tracking, and recurring safety education. Support safety compliance initiatives by maintaining accurate documentation, records, audits, and regulatory reporting requirements. Assist with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action follow-up to help prevent future occurrences. Facilitate and support Safety Committee meetings, employee engagement activities, safety communications, and awareness programs. Maintain safety management systems, databases, spreadsheets, and electronic records to ensure data accuracy and compliance. Conduct and support routine safety inspections and audits, including fire extinguishers, eyewash stations, LOTO programs, machine guarding, and other workplace safety initiatives. Partner with operations and leadership teams to promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, environmental requirements, and regulatory standards while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. What You Need to Succeed Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. 1+ years of experience in an administrative, manufacturing, safety, environmental, or operational support role. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Strong organizational, time management, and documentation skills with attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization and facilitate training sessions. Ability to maintain accurate records and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Understanding of workplace safety principles, policies, and procedures. Ability to work overtime as needed. Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments and comply with all safety requirements. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting safety, environmental, health, or compliance programs within a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of safety management systems, risk assessment programs, incident reporting, or regulatory compliance processes. Experience conducting safety audits, inspections, training coordination, or record management. Familiarity with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and incident investigation processes. Experience creating presentations, reports, and training materials using Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel. First Aid, CPR, safety certification, or related training experience.
