Camp H M Smith, HI Job Details Full-time 16 hours ago Qualifications Procedural guides Technical documentation Technical writing Document quality checks Standard operating procedures (SOPs) Full Job Description MANTECH seeks motivated, career and customer-oriented Safety Specialists to join our team in Oahu Hawaii . Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Validates and authorizes Safety Plans, inspection criteria, and hazard control strategies across the organizational footprint. Direct complex safety audits and analyze performance metrics to mitigate operational risks. Serve as a Technical Expert on Safety Boards and mentor personnel on proper safety practices. Coordinates and executes safety programs for expeditionary logistics infrastructure and RSOI operations within the theater of operations. Evaluate safety compliance for Joint Theater Distribution Centers and hazardous materials storage environments. Lead hazard mitigation efforts for multimodal transportation and logistics platform solutions under operational constraints. Provides leadership, guidance, and mentoring to subordinate staff.
NOTE:

Minimum Qualifications:
Senior Level Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Occupational Health, or a related field and 10+ years of position-relevant experience (additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education) Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification. Demonstrated experience in formal document review, safety oversight, and leading program deliverables Midlevel Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Occupational Health, or a related field and 3+ years of position-relevant experience (additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education). Demonstrate ability to draft technical safety documentation and follow established SOPs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Safety Engineering or a related field. Advanced safety certifications. Experience with joint force logistics and contested environment safety protocols.

Must hold an active
Public Trust Clearance Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
