Overview Join our dynamic team as a 3rd Shift Sanitation Associate and be a vital part of maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant environment within our food production facility. Must be 21 and older to apply. This energetic role offers the opportunity to ensure that all areas of the plant meet rigorous sanitation standards, supporting food safety and quality. As a key player in our night-time operations, you will help uphold our commitment to excellence by executing thorough cleaning procedures and adhering to safety protocols, all while working during the quiet yet crucial overnight hours. Responsibilities Perform industrial cleaning tasks across production areas, including machinery, floors, walls, and equipment, using appropriate cleaning agents and tools. Handle chemical agents safely by following proper chemical handling procedures and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) Conduct sanitation of food processing equipment to meet Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards and ensure compliance with food safety regulations. Utilize proper respiratory protection and adhere strictly to safety protocols during all cleaning activities. Maintain cleanliness in warehouse and storage areas by performing janitorial duties such as trash removal, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces. Document cleaning activities accurately in logs and reports, ensuring traceability and compliance with regulatory requirements. Assist with heavy lifting tasks as needed for moving supplies or equipment during sanitation processes. Requirements Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred, especially within food production or processing environments. Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and chemical agent handling is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during cleaning operations. Basic math skills for measuring chemicals and maintaining accurate records. Familiarity with GMP standards, food safety practices, and sanitation protocols is a plus. Experience working in a warehouse or commercial cleaning setting is beneficial. Commitment to following safety procedures diligently, including proper use of PPE and respiratory protection equipment.
