Entry-level; recent graduates and graduating seniors encouraged to apply Start Your Career in Construction Safety Are you a student nearing graduation or a recent graduate looking for a career where you can grow quickly, make a meaningful impact, and travel across the country? As a Safety Technician on Interstates' National Traveling Construction Team, you'll gain hands-on experience helping keep construction sites safe and supporting the people who work on them. You'll partner with experienced Safety Managers and Safety Directors while learning through job-site audits, safety inspections, training support, accident-prevention efforts, and day-to-day problem-solving. You'll work on projects across the United States, build relationships with field teams and customers, and develop the skills needed for a long-term career in construction safety. Student and Recent Graduate Opportunity This is an entry-level, full-time opportunity designed for recent graduates and students graduating soon. Candidates must be available for full-time employment and 100% domestic travel after graduation. Is This Role a Good Fit? Interested in building a long-term career in construction safety Previous professional safety experience is not required. Training, mentorship, and hands-on learning will be provided. What You'll Do In this role, you will: Support the Safety Director and Safety Managers in promoting a proactive, behavior-based safety culture on remote construction sites

Complete job-site safety audits and help identify and correct potential hazards

Verify that required safety equipment and supplies are available on-site

Support weekly safety inspections, including documentation, reporting, and follow-up

Assist with accident, injury, and near-miss investigations

Participate in root-cause analyses and help identify opportunities for prevention

Assist with coordinating safety training, communications, and educational materials

Support first-aid readiness and assist with first-aid training or response as qualified and assigned

Attend foreman, crew, and team safety meetings

Assist with project start-ups and plant shutdowns

Help crews understand, communicate, and strengthen Interstates' safety culture

Build positive working relationships with customers, safety professionals, field leaders, and Interstates team members

Perform other duties as assigned What You'll Bring Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, preferably in safety, safety engineering, construction management, engineering, or a related field

or one to two years of related safety or construction experience and/or training

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to track information, complete audits, and maintain accurate documentation

Ability to write clear reports and safety-related procedures

Ability to present information and respond to questions from employees, managers, customers, and other stakeholders

Ability to build trust and achieve results without relying on direct authority

Sound judgment and the ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment

Willingness and ability to travel 100% throughout the United States Preferred Qualifications Internship, co-op, or academic project experience in safety, construction, engineering, or a related field

Experience working on a construction site or in an industrial environment

Familiarity with safety inspections, incident reporting, or hazard identification
