BILINGUAL
(English/Spanish) Environmental Health & Safety Coordinator to lead and support all environmental, health, and safety initiatives throughout our manufacturing facility. This position will promote a strong safety culture, ensure compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations, conduct employee training, investigate incidents, and work closely with leadership to continuously improve workplace safety. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, hands-on, and comfortable working directly on the manufacturing floor. Essential Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs. Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Conduct routine safety inspections and facility audits. Identify hazards and implement corrective and preventive actions. Investigate workplace incidents, near misses, and injuries; prepare reports and corrective action plans. Coordinate workers' compensation claims and return-to-work documentation. Deliver new hire safety orientation and ongoing safety training in both English and Spanish . Maintain OSHA logs, safety records, training documentation, and compliance files. Lead safety meetings and toolbox talks. Partner with supervisors to improve safe work practices throughout the facility. Monitor PPE compliance and ensure proper usage. Coordinate emergency response procedures, fire drills, and evacuation plans. Assist with environmental compliance, waste management, chemical inventory, and SDS management. Recommend continuous improvements to reduce workplace injuries and environmental risks. Qualifications Required Must be fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written). Minimum 2 years of Environmental Health & Safety experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations. Experience conducting safety investigations. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects. Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office). Preferred OSHA 30 Certification. Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field. Experience with ISO 45001 and/or
ISO 14001.
First Aid / CPR Certification. Experience with Workers' Compensation and Return-to-Work programs. Forklift Trainer Certification (preferred). Physical Requirements Frequently walk throughout the manufacturing facility. Stand for extended periods. Occasionally lift up to 30 lbs. Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toe footwear, and other protective equipment as required.
