Job Description
CDL Driver (Commercial Truck Driver)Job Overview Join our team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to keep freight moving safely and efficiently. In this vital role, you will operate various types of equipment, including flatbed, step deck, lowboy, and reefer trailers. Your commitment to safety, excellent customer service, and regulatory compliance will ensure a smooth and secure journey for every trip.
Compensation & Benefits Top Pay:
Earn up to $0.85 per mile or 30% of the gross load amount , depending on your preferred pay structure and experience.Key Duties & Responsibilities Vehicle Operation:
Safely operate commercial vehicles, including Volvo 760 and Volvo 860 models, in strict accordance with traffic laws and company policies.Dispatch Communication:
Maintain clear, timely communication with dispatchers and customers regarding route adjustments or traffic delays.Safety Inspections:
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to verify safety and compliance.Documentation:
Complete accurate trip logs, incident reports, and inspection records while adhering to DOT and transportation regulations.Securement:
Ensure proper load securement and safety compliance for all trailer types.Required Skills & Qualifications OTR Experience:
Proven experience pulling 53-foot trailers across all 48 states.Regulatory Knowledge:
Deep understanding of state, local, and federal commercial driving laws, vehicle codes, and safety regulations.Communication:
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; multilingual abilities are a plus.Adaptability:
Demonstrated ability to respond quickly to dispatch updates and adapt routes efficiently without compromising safety. Why Join Us?
