Overview Join our dynamic team as a DOT Compliance Specialist, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring our transportation operations adhere to all
DOT/FMCSA
regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead compliance initiatives, manage regulatory documentation, and promote safety across our logistics and freight management activities. Your expertise will help maintain our reputation for excellence in transportation safety, regulatory adherence, and operational efficiency. We are committed to fostering a collaborative environment that values proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Perform audits of drivers' daily logs for compliance with
DOT/FMCSA
regulations When issues or noncompliance is found, conduct one-on-one coaching sessions or other like remedies If continued issues are present, reprimand/terminate drivers Present

Hours of Service Training to newly hired drivers Conduct truck inspections, ensuring newly leased trucks are compliant with federal regulations Maintains & ensures Driver Qualification files are accurate and up to date Respond to previous employer requests in a timely manner Monitor and maintain record of all roadside inspections performed by the DOT Update company documents as regulations/policies change Ensure that the FMCSA drug screening regulations, and random drug screening regulations, are being followed Maintain proper records and reporting for IFTA and IRP All other duties as assigned Qualifications Proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, or transportation compliance roles with a focus on DOT regulations. Strong understanding of
DOT/FMCSA
standards, transportation safety regulations, and international trade laws. Technical proficiency with Motive Software. Excellent report writing skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets for regulatory reporting purposes. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments including logistics, legal, safety, and operations teams. Pay:
$70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
