Accidents Responsibilities Assist in reviewing all accident reports and entering them into the Risk Management software, when necessary. Communicates contractual responsibility and coordinates with Payroll or Contractor Settlement if an accident claim is the result of negligence of an Independent Contractor. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Cargo Responsibilities Takes excess calls from drivers with exceptions at delivery, as necessary. Ensures that the exceptions are entered into the OS&D software and that the appropriate Fleet Manager is notified if the truck is delayed. Communicates contractual responsibility and coordinates with Payroll or Contractor Settlement if a cargo claim is the result of negligence of an Independent Contractor. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Administrative Responsibilities Assist in ensuring that all claims are entered into the OSHA Log and that the Company is within compliance. Assist in initiating claim payments and ensuring claim payments are made in a timely manner. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Safety/Compliance Responsibilities Understands and enforces the Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration ("FMCSA") hours of service requirements. Understands the functionality of the mobile communications system. Educates and trains drivers on FMCSA hours of service and logging requirements. Assist the Safety Coordinator with phone calls as deemed necessary. Assist the Safety Coordinator with HOS reports as deemed necessary. Escalates irresolvable issues to Director for final resolution. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Contractor Insurance Responsibilities Companies:
Olathe Noble Equipment "ONE" Leasing, Inc. and TransAm Trucking, Inc. Assist the Claims Administrator with maintaining spreadsheet for Independent Contractors/Owner-Operators on physical damage, non-trucking & occupational accident. Assist the Claims Administrator in notifying all insurance providers of any additions and terminations of Independent Contractors/Owner-Operators. Assists the Claims Administrator in creating Hauling Elsewhere (HE) re-lease and turn-in claims. Assists the Claims Administrator in obtaining H/E COIs and keeping them on file. Assists the Claims Administrator in creating and handling H/E claims to closure. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Elevate Dialer Responsibilites Follows Elevate policy and remains logged in to auto-dialer system to receive inbound calls and be available for auto-queued outbound calls. Updates agent status in dialer as directed by management. Remains logged in to dialer and keeps unavailable time (including wrap-uptime) to a minimum. Dispositions calls appropriately to summarize the outcome of the call.
