Job Description
Successful candidates will combine technical credibility with consultative selling skills to become trusted advisors to customers and key stakeholders throughout the buying process. As a Fire Service and mission-critical communications expert, this role will translate customer needs into practical solutions, clearly articulate the value of US Digital Designs' offerings, and differentiate our technology in complex sales environments. The position will be responsible for driving demand generation, developing opportunities, and expanding USDD solutions into federal, military, and other mission-critical applications. This role carries full lifecycle responsibility-from customer discovery and solution positioning through implementation support and long-term account growth-for systems that help save lives and protect property. Because our customers serve their communities in high-stakes environments, respect, responsiveness, technical expertise, and a service-first mindset are essential. Key Responsibilities + Value selling from understanding the customers challenges and working to translate customers' needs into sales proposals. + Technical acumen to evaluate and provide recommendations and best practices to serve the customer's needs. + Building technical requirements and solutions. + Regular on-site visits and communications with customers - before, during and after sales. + Consistently conducting and maintaining research to better understand the competitive marketplace. + Demonstrate expert level understanding of DoD procurement processes and contract.
