Address any unsafe or at-risk behaviors/conditions immediately, in a professional manner, to ensure the safety and health of anyone on-site. Identify hazardous conditions/actions within the plant and recommend corrective measures. Provide EH&S topics and training material to leadership team to be reviewed daily/weekly. Maintain training presentations and content. Deliver all required safety and environmental training and support designated trainers. Report on training compliance metrics. Maintain SDS Database and review new chemical requests for safety and compliance requirements. Act as the EHS focal/subject matter expert for programs as directed by the EHS Manager. Perform any other duties established by the EH&S Manager or Corporate EH&S Department. Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field; OR a combination of experience and training may be considered in lieu of a degree, such as: Minimum of 5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment with EHS as the primary responsibility; Associate degree in EHS and/or relevant certifications (e.g., OHST, CIT). Excellent written and oral communication skills. Experience with administering CAA, SWPP, SPCC, and EPCRA Programs. Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously. Extensive knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other government regulations.
