Full-time, 40 hours per week Professional Safety Solutions is a growing company that helps small and medium-sized businesses manage their Safety, Quality, and DOT compliance programs. We work closely with company management to develop, implement, oversee, and track practical compliance programs across multiple industries. We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented HSE Account Manager/Specialist who wants to grow with our company. This position is a good opportunity for someone with foundational safety experience who is eager to expand their knowledge, work directly with clients, and develop professionally in a fast-paced consulting environment. The ideal candidate does not need to be an expert in OSHA regulations or independently interpret complex laws and standards. We are looking for someone who understands basic safety principles, is willing to learn, and can effectively support the development and implementation of client safety programs. Job Responsibilities Assisting with incident reporting, investigation, documentation, and case management. Helping develop and revise safety policies, procedures, and training materials. Supporting Management of Change (MOC) processes. Assisting with Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) programs Conducting or assisting with safety meetings, toolbox talks, and employee training. Participating in facility audits, inspections, and client site visits. Managing and updating client records and compliance databases. Assisting with contractor and client compliance platforms such as ISN, Veriforce, or similar systems. Tracking corrective actions, training records, inspections, and other safety documentation. Communicating with clients and assisting them with practical safety program implementation. Supporting other safety, quality, and DOT compliance activities as assigned. Qualifications Some experience in occupational safety, HSE, construction, industrial operations, oil and gas, maritime operations, transportation, or a related field. Basic understanding of workplace safety concepts and hazard identification. Familiarity with JSAs or JHAs, Management of Change, Behavior-Based Safety programs, incident reporting, or safety meetings. Ability and willingness to learn company processes, client requirements, and applicable safety practices. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Self-motivated, dependable, organized, and willing to take initiative. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Professional and comfortable working with clients, supervisors, and employees. Basic computer skills and ability to work with online databases and documentation systems. Ability to work 40 hours per week. Must be able to pass a background check and drug test. Experience Level This position may be appropriate for someone with approximately one year or more of safety-related experience , including experience gained through employment, internships, field work, military service, safety training, or related industrial experience. Candidates who demonstrate strong motivation, professionalism, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn may be considered even if they do not meet every listed qualification.
