Job Description
Job Description Lead EH&S initiatives at the TESI Sparks, MD location, ensuring adherence to all applicable regulations. Develop, implement, and update EHS policies and procedures, including chemical safety, ergonomics, injury prevention, and building safety. Manage and maintain environmental, health, and safety programs in compliance with EPA, OSHA, MDE, and other applicable regulatory requirements. Maintain all environmental and regulatory permits and ensure compliance with permit requirements. Prepare, submit, and maintain required environmental reports, records, and regulatory filings. Manage wastewater, stormwater, hazardous waste, air permitting, and other environmental compliance activities as applicable. Conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments, compliance audits, and incident investigations. Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to mitigate workplace hazards and compliance risks. Develop, deliver, and maintain EHS training programs for employees and management. Lead emergency preparedness, response planning, and business continuity efforts related to EHS. Partner with management to foster a proactive safety culture and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Monitor regulatory changes and ensure organizational compliance with new or revised requirements. Deliver and oversee EHS training programs, including new hire orientation and ongoing compliance topics. In-depth knowledge of environmental, health, and safety compliance program design requirements and proven ability to implement effective programs, including developing and delivering training, conducting audits, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
