Molding Group Leader- 12 Hour Night Shift
Job DescriptionResponsibilities:
Under the direction of the supervisor, oversees the activities of all team employeesEnsures the safety of all team employees by checking their work areas for safety/housekeeping hazards and addressing issues immediately.

Reports any infractions to their supervisorPerforms duties in a safe manner; acts as a role model for safetyAssists supervisor in conducting preliminary investigations on safety incidentsReviews and documents daily safety topic discussion for meetingsConducts required training on selected safety topics as identified and assigned by the safety manager or immediate supervisorSupports team goals and objectives. Assists supervisor with dissemination information and updates to employeesOrganizes and leads employee driven teams to address safety, quality, or other operational issues as assigned by the supervisorProvides input for performance appraisals; addresses complaints and helps to resolve problems. Assists with the retention of appropriate documentation.

Provides input on employee readiness for promotion, participates in interviews and recommends training as needed.

Maintains open communication with all team employees. Identifies and coordinates additional training as neededAttends meetings and provides information to Supervisor in his/her absenceConducts meetings with employees to provide information on production, quality, safety, and policy issuesPerforms other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED requiredPrevious leadership experience in manufacturing settingPrevious Molding experience in manufacturing settingThe starting rate of pay for this position is expected to be $21.00 per hour; however, starting pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience between $21.00 per hourand $24.00 per hour.
