The Construction Field Safety Representative will provide field safety support for roofing, scaffolding, coatings, insulation, and painting operations while assisting project leadership with inspections, hazard recognition, compliance activities, and day-to-day safety oversight. Required Qualifications OSHA 30 Construction Certification 1-3 Years of Construction Safety Experience Experience Working Around Roofing, Scaffolding, Aerial Lifts, or Working at Heights Experience Supporting Commercial or Industrial Construction Sites Ability and Willingness to Travel Nationwide for Project Assignments Preferred Qualifications Roofing Safety Experience Scaffold Safety Experience Industrial Maintenance Experience Fall Protection Experience First Aid/CPR Certification CHST, ASP, CSP, STSC, or Other BCSP Credential What You'll Be Doing Provide field safety support for roofing, scaffolding, coatings, insulation, and painting operations Conduct routine site inspections, audits, observations, and hazard assessments Monitor work involving aerial lifts, elevated work, scaffold access, and fall protection systems Assist with pre-task planning, toolbox talks, and daily safety discussions Identify hazards and work with supervision to develop practical corrective actions Support project leadership with safety compliance and documentation requirements Assist with safety orientations and onboarding activities Maintain required inspection records, reports, and safety documentation Provide coaching and reinforcement of safe work practices in the field Participate in incident investigations and corrective action implementation Serve as a visible safety presence on active jobsites Support the client's safety culture and operational standards across all assignments Technical Knowledge Candidates should have working knowledge of: OSHA Construction Standards Roofing Safety Requirements Scaffold SafetyAccess Systems Aerial LiftsMEWPs Fall ProtectionElevated Work Industrial Coatings Operations Insulation Installation Activities Material Handling Operations Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) Hazard RecognitionRisk Assessment Incident InvestigationCorrective Actions Contractor Safety Management Construction Risk AssessmentMitigation What Success Looks Like The ideal candidate is a travel-ready, field-focused safety professional who enjoys supporting active commercial and industrial construction environments.
