Overview Join our dynamic team as a CDL A Milk Hauler and become an essential part of delivering fresh, high-quality dairy products to facilities across the state. This energetic role offers the opportunity to operate specialized 8axle tanker trailers, ensuring timely and safe deliveries while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Responsibilities Safely operate refrigerated tractor-trailers equipped with tanker configurations for in state routes. Transport Raw Milk using specialized 8 axle, tankers while maintaining product integrity. Navigate routes efficiently to load trailers and meet specified delivery times. Load and unload freight accurately, ensuring proper handling of raw dairy milk. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Manage documentation related to freight, delivery logs, and cargo handling records meticulously. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route adjustments, delivery status, or safety concerns during transportation. Qualifications Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record; 2 years experience with commercial truck driving required. Proven experience operating tanker trailers. Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) rules, and hazardous materials regulations essential for safe transport of liquid goods. Ability to handle manual transmission trucks and perform manual handling tasks related to truck loading and unloading cargo. Strong understanding, or learning capability, of truck loading/unloading procedures, freight management, and delivery driving best practices.
