Overview Join our dynamic team as an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator, where you'll play a vital role in fostering a safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible workplace. This energetic position offers the opportunity to lead safety initiatives, ensure regulatory adherence, and promote a culture of continuous improvement. You will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive safety programs that protect our employees, the environment, and our operations. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and monitor environmental health and safety policies in accordance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits across manufacturing facilities to identify hazards related to hazardous materials, workplace safety, and environmental compliance. Lead incident investigations, prepare detailed report writing, and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences. Coordinate employee training programs on safety regulations such as First aid, CPR, OSHA standards, hazardous materials handling, and environmental management systems. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations including hazardous materials regulations and environmental management systems to minimize ecological impact. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of workers' compensation law and occupational health standards; manage related documentation and reporting processes. Collaborate with management to develop emergency response plans and conduct safety drills to reinforce preparedness. Oversee regulatory/legal compliance standards in production environments to uphold the highest levels of workplace safety and employee health. Experience Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of workplace safety practices and environmental health principles. Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA standards, hazardous materials regulations, and environmental compliance requirements. Experience in report writing for incident investigations, compliance audits, or safety documentation is highly desirable. Familiarity with environmental management systems (EMS) and regulatory/legal compliance standards in production settings. Certification or training in First aid, CPR, OSHA safety regulations, or environmental health is preferred. Strong background in training & development related to occupational health & safety topics for diverse teams. Ability to interpret complex legal requirements related to workers' compensation law and occupational health regulations.
