Job Description

We are looking for a Safety Technician who will monitor and supervise work safety activities, seeking to ensure conditions that eliminate or reduce, to a minimum, the risks of incidents/accidents and occupational diseases, meeting and complying with regulatory standards/NRs and relevant legislation.

Mon-Fri, mid-morning to evening What's the Job? Incident/accident investigation Carry out safety audits/inspections aiming the reduction of potential hazards Evaluates personal protective equipment Inspects potentially hazardous equipment or facilities 2nd level of contact with plant leadership for consulting Risk identification Deliver safety training programs Support Policies Development and implement safety programs Maintain records and documentation of all safety paperwork (Assessments, Audits, Investigations, Training, etc.) To organize First Aid/CPR training Work with supervisors and managers on safety procedures and concerns Help Safety KPIs monthly report preparation What's Needed? High School or equivalent Minimum of 2 years of experience as Safety Technician. OSHA compliance, injury/accident investigation (good record keeping) Good communication skills (to inform and train employees on various safety topics)
