You will be responsible for executing industrial cleaning procedures during overnight hours to support continuous production and uphold rigorous safety and hygiene protocols. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of production areas, equipment, and machinery using appropriate cleaning agents and techniques. Handle chemical agents safely, following all chemical handling safety procedures and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE). Utilize industrial cleaning tools and equipment to ensure surfaces meet sanitation standards. Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines to maintain compliance with food safety regulations. Conduct routine sanitation checks, document cleaning activities, and report any sanitation issues or hazards immediately. Assist with waste removal and disposal processes in accordance with safety protocols. Support warehouse and production teams by maintaining cleanliness in storage areas and ensuring a safe working environment. Requirements Prior janitorial, custodial, or industrial cleaning experience preferred, especially within food production or manufacturing environments. Knowledge of chemical handling safety procedures, including proper use of respiratory protection and PPE. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and stand for extended periods during shift hours. Basic math skills for measuring cleaning solutions and recording sanitation logs accurately. Familiarity with GMP standards, food safety protocols, and sanitation best practices is highly desirable. Strong adherence to safety protocols, including chemical handling safety procedures and proper use of respiratory protection equipment. Previous warehouse or commercial cleaning experience is a plus, demonstrating reliability in maintaining high hygiene standards.
