$23.90 - $24.90/hr Benefits Information Medical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription Drug Insurance Paid Vacation and Holidays 401(k) with Cargill Matching Contributions Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Development Opportunities Employee Discounts Marathon Health Clinic (Employer sponsored health center) Principal Accountabilities- Deliver and assist with the development of safety training as assigned per Cargill and Occupational Safety and Health Administer (OSHA) requirements through conducting training and track overall completion
- Track worksite analysis, pre and post worksite evaluation of ergonomic improvements to reduce ergonomic and other risk factors
- Review, evaluate, safety incidents and drive accountability of closure on items
- Spend majority of shift on the floor supporting training, onboarding, and departmental safety presence
- Review employee documentation and support trainers with compliance and performance needs
- Track leading indicators to reduce injuries, identify trends and potential actions for annual Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) plans
- Ensure completion and accuracy of monthly plant inspections and assist supervisors to document and close safety related items identified during the inspections
- Champion the behavioral based safety process and ensure that the program is robust and effectively used
- Other job duties as assigned Required Qualifications Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship Must be 18 years or older Ability to Read, Write, and Speak English Basic Computer Skills Preferred Qualifications Previous Cargill or Food Production Experience Previous work history in the past 12 months Previous Lead, Trainer, or Safety experience Please note that this position does not include relocation reimbursement.
