JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Fire Science department is seeking a positive, supportive, and dynamic Fire Science Instructor to teach a diverse community of learners. Preference will be given to candidates who are committed to student success, equity, inclusion and the use of the classroom experiences to enhance workplace understanding and performance. Responsible for teaching a full range of fire science coursework offered in the program. The ideal candidate holds an Associate's degree in the discipline or related discipline, current relevant industry certification, plus 2 years of full-time related occupational experience. May include day, evening and/or weekend classes and will involve travel to other campuses. Hiring process includes passing a background check.
Compensation :
