Job Summary 9-15 hours a week hours are 7pm-10pm. We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Cleaning Specialist to maintain a pristine and safe environment across our facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for executing thorough cleaning routines, handling cleaning chemicals safely, and ensuring all areas meet sanitation standards. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for staff, clients, and visitors alike. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces in various areas such as offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces. Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and scrubbers to ensure optimal performance. Handle chemical agents with strict adherence to safety protocols, including proper storage, usage, and disposal of cleaning supplies. Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of furniture, equipment, or supplies following safe lifting practices to prevent injury. Maintain high standards of sanitation by applying industry best practices for infection control and cleanliness in both commercial and residential settings. Support facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues to the appropriate team members. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any cleaning-related inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally. Skills Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of custodial procedures. Knowledge of chemical handling safety procedures and proper use of cleaning agents. Skilled in operating various cleaning equipment including floor buffers, vacuums, and industrial cleaners. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following safety protocol adherence. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on sanitation standards and facility appearance. Strong communication skills with a customer service-oriented mindset. Experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
