Environmental Health & Safety Coordinator Monday-Friday | Professional Position | Competitive Salary | Career Growth Build a Career with Checon Checon, LLC , a division of Alloy Holdings, is looking for an organized, safety focused EH&S Coordinator to join our team in Glens Falls, NY. This position supports safety and environmental programs across assigned Alloy Holdings locations and works closely with employees, site leadership, and the EH&S Manager to promote a safe workplace and maintain compliance with OSHA and environmental requirements. What You'll Do Support OSHA and company safety programs, including Hazard Communication, PPE, Lockout/Tagout, Forklift Safety, and Fire Safety Coordinate safety and environmental training and maintain required records Conduct safety inspections and audits and follow up on corrective actions Support workplace injury and incident investigations Maintain OSHA, safety, and environmental records and reports Support

ISO 14001

Environmental Management System activities and internal audits Support environmental compliance related to waste, air emissions, and water Coordinate hazardous waste handling and documentation Support environmental inspections, permits, and regulatory reporting Coordinate Tier II and TRI reporting Support safety, environmental, and continuous improvement initiatives What We're Looking For Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Science, or related field preferred; equivalent experience or training may be considered 1-3 years of experience in EH&S, safety, environmental, or manufacturing-related work Basic knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records Manufacturing experience preferred Experience with safety inspections, incident investigations, corrective actions, or OSHA reporting preferred ISO 14001 or safety/environmental certification experience is a plus Willingness to travel occasionally between company locations Benefits Competitive salary Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance Life and Long-Term Disability Insurance Paid Time Off 401(k) with Safe Harbor Company Match Employee Assistance Program Referral Bonus Program Opportunities for training and career growth Why Checon?
