Essential Functions
Perform complex skilled maintenance on manufacturing equipment as necessary.
Maintain grounds and roadways.
Perform complex repairs and preventive maintenance functions on equipment.
In collaboration with Manager, keep an adequate level of materials; equipment, tools, and safety equipment are available to maintain the equipment and facility.
Support capital improvement projects where appropriate.
Provide written and/or verbal reports and updates as required on facilities, maintenance, and capital activities projects.
Develop scopes of work and RFQs as necessary.
Understand and use building automation programs such as Johnson Controls Management System, Fire Control Systems, Alarm Systems and Building Access Systems.
Travel and work outside of normal business hours as required.
Other duties as assigned
Promptly address assigned environmental and emergency response corrective actions.
Assist with environmental training for key personnel as determined by regulatory or environmental management system requirements.
Maintains working knowledge of federal, state and local Facilities and EHS regulations/trends.
Education / Training / Skills /
Hazardous Waste Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) training preferred.
Must currently possess or acquire within 30 days of employment RCRA training.
HVAC maintenance experience preferred.
Working knowledge of building automation systems.
Drawing skills including AutoCAD, schematics, installation drawings and bill of materials.
Working knowledge of federal, state and local Facilities and EHS regulations/trends, NEC and NFPA 70E.Must have a general knowledge of ISO requirements and a working knowledge of those requirementsExcellent computer skills with proven ability to work with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).Strong oral and written communication skills.
Must be organized and able to work productively with cross functional groups in the organization.
Hands on approach during troubleshooting project installation and startup activities.
Requires valid Drivers License.
Must be able to lift 40 pounds.

Job Summary:
In collaboration with Production & Facilities Manager, responsible for upkeep of all plant equipment, facilities and grounds including day-to-day maintenance activities necessary to sustain and improve the facility, and facilitates corporate and operational activities related to environmental, health and safety (EHS). Perform complex skilled work relating to electrical, plumbing, mechanical, carpentry and painting.Essential Functions

Essential Functions Health & Safety:
Support and promote a positive safety cultureIn collaboration with Manager, ensures timely fulfillment of EHS compliance requirements (e.g. delivery of required EHS training, environmental sampling and inspections, program evaluations, external reporting and certifications).Essential Functions Environmental and Emergency Response:
Partner with operations and facility personnel to support compliance requirements for the facilitys: State Facility Air Permit, Sanitary Sewer Use Permit (including Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasures Plan), Stormwater Permit (including Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan), Asbestos Management Plan & Ozone Depleting Substance (ODS) Management PlanSupport and recommend initiatives to reduce wastes, particularly hazardous wastes from operations. Similarly, support and recommend initiatives for increased recycling of both hazardous and non-hazardous waste.Promptly address assigned environmental and emergency response corrective actions.

Experience:
Five (5) years minimum experience in a facilities, engineering and/or environmental role. Experience with construction, engineering, project design, contracts, specification and project management preferred.Hazardous Waste Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) training preferred.
Must currently possess or acquire within 30 days of employment RCRA training.

Standard manufacturing and maintenance conditions. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
