$75K-85K We have an immediate need for a Regional Safety Specialist to support our West Henrietta operations. The position will report to the Director of Safety and will be responsible for assisting and maintaining the DDS Companies' Safety Program in the assigned region. This position will be required to perform the following functions: Conduct and document routine Safety Inspections of field operations to ensure compliance with the DDS Companies' Safety program. Incident response, reporting and investigation. Collect and maintain required program documentation. Safety equipment inspection, maintenance, and replacement (e.g., fire extinguishers, PPE, meter calibration and other Safety equipment). Train employees in Safety programs, procedures, and regulations. Collect and maintain required program documentation. Participate in Annual Safety Training, Safety Orientation on-boarding. Assist with DOT program including coaching drivers on program and driving behaviors. Represent the DDS Companies to employees, customers, vendors, and the public. Skills and Experience Required A minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in a Construction Safety focused role. Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Prior experience working with employees to identify and correct hazardous workplace conditions. Ability to collect, organize and summarize Safety related information. Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must be able to effectively communicate, establish credibility, and provide training in field and classroom settings. Preferred Safety Certificate or Certification (e.g.
CHST, CUSP, CSP
) Bachelor's degree in a related field of study or equivalent experience. Prior training experience. DDS is an equal opportunity employer.
