Monday-Saturday | Approximately 60 Hours/Week Why This Opportunity? Join a contractor supporting a large-scale data center construction project in Florence, KY. This opportunity provides hands-on safety oversight for cooling infrastructure installation, including large-diameter piping, structural steel pipe racks, crane operations, rigging activities, and material handling operations. Required Qualifications OSHA 30 Construction Certification Current CPR / First Aid Certification Experience with Fall Protection Programs Experience with Rigging Operations Experience with MEWPs / Aerial Lifts Strong field safety presence and hazard recognition skills Preferred Qualifications Data Center Construction Experience Structural Steel Construction Experience Crane and Rigging Safety Experience Telehandler Safety Experience HammerTech Proficiency CHST, ASP, CSP, STS-C, or Other BCSP Credential What You'll Be Doing Provide daily field safety oversight for data center construction activities Maintain a highly visible presence throughout active work areas Conduct routine site inspections, audits, observations, and hazard assessments Monitor large-diameter pipe installation and structural steel pipe rack activities Observe crane operations, rigging activities, telehandler use, and material handling operations Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), permits, and pre-task plans Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project-specific safety requirements Identify unsafe conditions and coordinate timely corrective actions Provide field coaching and reinforce safe work practices with craft personnel Coordinate safety activities with project management, supervision, and the GC safety team Participate in incident investigations and corrective action implementation Maintain required safety documentation, inspection records, and compliance reports Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the project Technical Knowledge Candidates should have working knowledge of: OSHA Construction Standards Data Center Construction Safety Fall Protection Systems RiggingMaterial Handling Operations Crane SafetyLift Planning Structural Steel Construction Activities Telehandler Operations Aerial LiftsMEWPs Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) Incident InvestigationCorrective Actions Contractor Safety Management Construction Risk AssessmentMitigation HammerTech DocumentationReporting What Success Looks Like The ideal candidate is a hands-on, field-focused safety professional who is comfortable spending the majority of their time in the field supporting active construction operations.
