• As a
• Regional Safety Professional
• at John W. Danforth Company, you will support safe work environments across our jobsites and facilities by partnering with operations teams to implement safety programs, identify risks, ensure compliance, and promote a strong safety culture. Your goal is to help reduce incidents and ensure every employee returns home safely each day.
• Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Provide guidance, training, and support to employees and project teams on safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Conduct regular jobsite visits, inspections, and audits to identify and correct potential hazards.
• Partner with field leadership and operations teams to promote accountability and continuous safety improvement.
• Support the development and implementation of project-specific safety plans and programs.
• Lead or assist with incident, injury, and near-miss investigations and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and customer safety requirements.
• Deliver safety training and toolbox talks to employees and field teams.
• Maintain safety documentation, reports, and records as required.
• Encourage and promote a strong safety culture aligned with Danforth's values.
• Qualifications
• 5-10 years of safety experience in construction, mechanical contracting, industrial, or a related industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, state, and federal safety regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to train and influence employees at all levels.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Self-starter with a commitment to safety, learning, and professional growth. \#danfth
