Do:

In this role, you'll partner with plant personnel and contractors to spot, evaluate, and control workplace hazards. You'll lead safety trainings, guide pre-job briefs, and review work procedures to make sure industrial safety requirements are baked into everything we do. From job hazard analyses and accident investigations to injury reporting and compliance checks, you'll be hands-on in shaping a culture of safety. People With:

An associate degree in Industrial/Occupational Safety, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 4+ years of safety experience Must possess or have the ability to obtain and maintain a "Q"

Clearance A Successful Candidate Brings:

A B.S. in Occupational Safety and Health (or related field) with 6+ years of experience Background in Industrial Hygiene discipline A proactive approach to identifying risks and creating practical, people-first solutions Strong communication skills to train, influence, and inspire teams to live safety every day Currently holding an active Q-level security clearance

Pay:

Estimated Starting Base Salary Range:

$54,299-90,499

Centrus considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. While the posted range reflects the anticipated hiring range for this position, compensation above the range may be considered for candidates with exceptional qualifications and directly relevant experience.

•Candidates with exceptional qualifications may be considered for appointment at a higher grade with a corresponding compensation range. This position will require a pre­-employment background check and a pre-employment drug test. Centrus Energy and all subsidiaries shall abide by the applicable legal requirements.
