Establish long term client relationships with the ability to see your clients for many months at a time. This position is private pay physical therapy-in the home and functional fitness training with Senior clients, in the home. You may work with patients during an episode of home health therapy, hospice care, or private pay functional fitness to build upon functional mobility and fitness. At Care In Home, our PTA's also serve as certified personal trainers to help transition from home therapy to a regular exercise maintenance and fall prevention program. We help SENIORS get strong and mobile so they can continue to live at home safely for as long as possible. We work with senior support service providers, home health agencies and skilled nursing facilities in mutual referral relationships. Our clients' fitness levels can range from recently discharged from an acute or post-acute setting to healthy and active in the community (and don't want to go to the local gym or rec center to exercise). We pay self-employed PTA / personal trainers $40- 45 for each one-hour session.
