A Sanitation Specialist completes sanitation inspections and monitors sanitation practices for a company or government public health agency. Maintains cleanliness and equipment sanitation at a production facility, monitors safe storage of supplies, and inspects and monitors product safety. May inspect public and food service establishments and report on compliance with public health requirements, or advise on sanitation for public health initiatives.

Job Description
THE BASICS
Pay:
$15.00Schedule:
3pm -1:30 am Sunday , Monday ,Thursday ,Friday and SaturdayLocation:
Ephrata, PAWHAT YOU DO
- Clean and sanitize equipment, machinery and facility areas according to established schedules and food safety standards
- Sanitize floors, walls, and other facility areas to help maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all HACCP and food safety protocols
- Complete required sanitation and compliance paperwork accurately and on time
- Report safely concerns, maintenance issues, or equipment problems to management immediately
- Operate equipment such as scissor lifts and other powered industrial equipment as needed to perform cleaning duties, including work at elevated heights
- Utilize Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures when cleaning packing area equipment
- Support additional sanitation duties and facility cleaning tasks as assigned
WHAT YOU BRING
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous sanitation or warehouse cleaning experience preferred
- Experience operating aerial platform lifts and other powered equipment as needed
- Ability to follow food safety procedures and workplace safety protocols
- Strong Communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift 60 lbs. and push/pull equipment weighing 100+ lbs.
- Fall Protection training preferred
- Willingness to become certified on equipment including flooring scrubber, sweepers, pallet jacks, fork lifts and aerial lifts
