Your role as an Intern / Co-op in the AD&M Business Unit will help us make the connections that move the world forward by: Support EHS efforts across laboratory and site operations while gaining foundational experience in safety, environmental compliance, and continuous improvement. Partner with EHS, Facilities, Engineering, Laboratory, and Operations teams to strengthen a zero injury and environmental defect culture. Assist with EHS program administration, field observations, documentation updates, data tracking, and corrective action follow-up.

In this role you'll: Assist with workplace inspections, laboratory/shop floor observations, and documentation of findings. Support Job Safety Analyses (JSA), non-routine risk assessments, and equipment or task hazard reviews. Track corrective actions from inspections, incidents, audits, risk assessments, and management of change activities. Maintain EHS documentation, training records, standard work, and communication materials for laboratory and site teams. Support internal/external audit readiness and complete an assigned EHS improvement project aligned with site priorities.

• You're the kind of person we are looking for if you:
• Have earned a high school diploma or GED Are currently enrolled in, or pursuing, a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Safety,Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, Sustainability, Public Health, or a related technical field from an accredited college or university—or have equivalent work experience (gap year students may also be considered).

Have an interest in environmental, health and safety, regulatory compliance, risk reduction, or manufacturing/laboratory operations. Bring strong written and verbal communication skills, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; Excel, SharePoint, Power BI, or other data/reporting tools is a plus.

• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $20.91 - 31.07/hour (subject to change dependent on physical location)

Our internship program typically runs May thru August and gives students the opportunity to work on projects that contribute to the success of their team and build on their classroom experience.
