Job Summary American Compliance Systems is seeking a dependable Occupational Safety Trainer and OSHA Compliance Consultant to deliver onsite safety training, conduct workplace inspections, troubleshoot hazards, and support clients with OSHA compliance. This part-time, field-based position requires regular travel throughout Central and Southern New Jersey and Southeastern Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, works effectively with limited supervision, and builds strong client relationships through practical guidance and responsive service. Compensation and Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience, plus incentive compensation and reimbursement for approved business travel expenses. Additional benefit details will be discussed during the hiring process. Key Responsibilities Visit client locations to deliver engaging onsite occupational safety and OSHA-related training. Conduct workplace safety inspections and identify potential hazards, unsafe conditions, and compliance gaps. Troubleshoot safety concerns and recommend practical, effective corrective actions. Provide OSHA compliance-related consulting services, including guidance on safety programs, procedures, documentation, and employee practices. Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to client contacts, supervisors, and employees. Prepare accurate, timely training records, inspection notes, reports, and follow-up materials. Maintain current knowledge of applicable OSHA regulations, industry best practices, and emerging workplace safety issues. Deliver responsive, professional customer service and represent the company positively at every client site. Qualifications Degree in occupational safety, environmental health and safety, industrial hygiene, risk management, or a related field preferred. Experience delivering instructor-led workplace safety training and conducting safety inspections or compliance consulting is required. Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and recognized workplace safety practices. Ability to identify hazards, evaluate risk, and explain practical corrective measures. Excellent verbal, written, presentation, communication, and customer service skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently. Professionalism, reliability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred. Travel & Schedule This is a part-time position with assignments scheduled according to client needs. Hours may vary and can include occasional early mornings or evenings. Candidates must be able to travel reliably to client sites throughout Central and Southern New Jersey and Southeastern Pennsylvania. Approved business travel expenses are reimbursed.
