Southern California firm specializing in environmental assessment and cleanup work for the Department of Defense is seeking a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)/Certified Safety Professional (CSP) to manage the firm's health and safety (H&S) program, participate in and oversee safety plan preparation and interact with staff on a daily basis. Preferred years of experience 5 to 10 years.

Qualifications should include the following:

• Bachelor's degree in physical science, life science, or engineering that includes formal education and training in occupational health and safety
• American Board of Industrial Hygiene Certification or Safety Professional Certification
• OSHA 40-Hour

HAZWOPER

Training with current 8-hour refresher

• Working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local occupation health and safety regulations
• Minimum of seven years of experience managing safety and occupational health at hazardous waste sites during investigation and cleanup operations.
• Eligibility to work in the United States and on Department of Defense installations
• Ability to travel periodically
• Detail oriented, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently and within a team Position can be remote.
