Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Fire Alarm/Life Safety Systems Designer for a Hybrid position with a Global Engineering Firm located in Tampa, FL. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity. This role is for a specialist with proven expertise in the design and fieldwork of Fire Alarm and Life Safety Systems. The position is hybrid, requiring the candidate to live within 50 miles of a company office and report onsite 2 days per week. This role involves significant travel (minimum 25%) to various job sites, so proximity to a major airport is ideal.

Requirements:

Must have Fire Alarm and Life Safety Systems design and field experience (this is distinct from Fire Protection/Sprinkler and generic Electrical Engineering) Ability to work a hybrid schedule, reporting to a company office or relevant job site 2 days per week Must live within 50 miles of a company office Willingness and ability to travel a minimum of 25% to various job sites Ideal candidate is located near a major airport to facilitate travel Pay range: up to $88.00 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) employees will be considered for this position.
