Environmental Compliance & Sustainability Focus
PDM US, LLC
is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator to lead and support our environmental compliance, sustainability, and workplace safety initiatives. This role will serve as a key resource in ensuring compliance with environmental regulations while helping drive a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have experience with environmental programs, regulatory compliance, manufacturing operations, and employee engagement. This individual will partner closely with operations, maintenance, HR, and leadership teams to support our commitment to environmental stewardship and employee wellbeing. Key Responsibilities Environmental Compliance & Sustainability Lead environmental compliance activities and ensure adherence to applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Maintain environmental permits, records, reports, and documentation. Coordinate environmental inspections, audits, and corrective actions. Monitor waste management, recycling, emissions, stormwater, and other environmental programs. Support sustainability initiatives aimed at reducing waste, improving resource efficiency, and enhancing environmental performance. Serve as the primary contact for environmental agencies, consultants, and service providers. Health & Safety Support Support workplace safety programs to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies. Coordinate safety training and maintain related records and certifications. Assist with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation. Conduct facility inspections and safety audits to identify and address potential hazards. Support PPE selection, inventory management, and employee compliance efforts. Participate in safety committees and continuous improvement initiatives. Culture & Leadership Promote a culture where environmental responsibility and safety are shared priorities. Partner with supervisors and employees to encourage engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement. Assist in developing programs, communications, and initiatives that strengthen PDM's environmental and safety culture. Track key environmental and safety metrics and provide recommendations for improvement. What We're Looking For Experience in environmental compliance, sustainability, EHS, manufacturing operations, or a related field. Working knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization. Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate documentation. Passion for environmental stewardship, employee engagement, and continuous improvement.
