Auriga Polymers Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Indorama Ventures PLC is seeking a CPS Outside A Operator, to join our group located at our Spartanburg, SC facility. We are looking for a highly motivated professional with demonstrated capabilities. A successful individual in this role must have strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Responsibilities/Job Requirement:
Support management to ensure that the management systems are established, implemented, maintained, updated, and continually improved in accordance with applicable standards, site procedures, and opportunities identified. Ensure Quality, Food Safety, Environmental, Safety, Hygiene, and Energy Programs achieve their respective intended outcomes by following all applicable procedures set forth by the company. Establish and maintain a hygienic work area to prevent possible contamination, mislabeling and/or adulteration of products. Report any potential risk and/or opportunities for improvement of Quality, Food Safety, Environmental, Safety, Health, Hygiene, or Energy programs to management. Participate in Quality, Food Safety, Environmental, Safety, Hygiene, and Energy programs and activities as needed to support the continual improvement of the Management system. Monitor all functions of the polymerization process and maintain all production systems to the current standard operating conditions. Safely and efficiently shut down and restart polymerization process equipment. Accurately respond to and troubleshoot process upsets. Correctly conduct area audits and communicate issues to supervisor. Pass on all pertinent information to the oncoming crew.
Qualification:
5 Years of previous manufacturing experience Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Ability to work well in a team setting High School diploma/GED or higher We are an equal opportunity employer M/F/D/V Drug tests are required, unless prohibited by law. This employer uses E-Verify.
