Overview Join our dynamic team as a Safety Specialist and become a vital driver of safety excellence across our construction projects. In this energetic role, you will champion occupational health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations while fostering a culture of proactive risk management. Your expertise will help create secure, compliant work environments where safety is integrated into every aspect of construction operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence safety practices on-site, promote well-being, and uphold the highest standards of construction safety management. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs tailored to construction site needs, emphasizing risk management and OSHA compliance. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits across multiple construction sites to identify hazards and enforce safety protocols. Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to ensure adherence to occupational health standards and NEC (National Electrical Code) requirements. Lead safety training sessions for workers, emphasizing OSHA regulations, workers' compensation procedures, and EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) best practices. Manage incident investigations, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences. Oversee compliance management efforts by monitoring adherence to local, state, and federal safety regulations. Utilize construction management software to track safety metrics, document inspections, and maintain accurate records for audits and reporting. Requirements Proven experience in construction site safety management with a strong understanding of OSHA regulations and occupational health principles. Knowledge of risk management strategies specific to construction environments. Familiarity with NEC standards related to electrical safety on construction sites. Experience with workers' compensation processes and claims management. Strong background in EHS practices within the construction industry; certification such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) is a plus. Proficiency in construction management software for documentation and compliance tracking. Excellent communication skills to effectively train teams and coordinate with stakeholders at all levels. Pay:
$52,713.13 - $103,482.48 per year
