Trucking Safety & Compliance Coordinator Central Coast Transport Converse, TX Job Details Full-time $1 a year 8 hours ago Qualifications Vehicle codes Hours of Service (HOS) regulations Full Job Description Central Coast Transport - Converse, TX Central Coast Transport is seeking an experienced Safety & Compliance Coordinator to manage driver safety and DOT compliance for our trucking operations. Responsibilities Monitor and review Samsara ELD logs and ensure compliance with FMCSA Hours of Service regulations Review and address log violations and driver safety events Monitor Samsara safety alerts (speeding, harsh braking, unsafe driving events) Investigate and manage accidents and safety incidents Maintain Driver Qualification Files (DQ files) and compliance documentation Conduct driver safety orientation and ELD training for new drivers Assist with driver recruiting and onboarding Work with management to maintain strong safety standards and DOT compliance Requirements Experience in trucking safety, compliance, or fleet safety management Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and Hours of Service Experience using ELD systems (Samsara preferred) Experience handling driver accidents and safety investigations Strong organizational and communication skills Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
