September 15, 2026 Safety Specialist Mesquite, TX $30 - $32 / per hour Full time Apply Now Back Job Description We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Safety Specialist to support workplace safety and compliance within a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Mesquite, TX. This position will monitor site conditions, identify potential hazards, conduct safety assessments, maintain safety documentation, and partner with management and employees to promote a strong safety culture. Shift- 6am-3pm Tuesday-Saturday Pay-31.50hr Temp to Hire- 90 Days Key Responsibilities Conduct job hazard analyses (JHAs) and risk assessments for routine tasks and new equipment. Monitor daily workplace conditions and identify potential safety hazards. Recommend and support implementation of corrective and risk-mitigation measures. Maintain accurate safety metrics, reports, inspections, and compliance documentation. Support compliance with OSHA requirements, company safety programs, and applicable regulations. Partner with supervisors and employees to encourage proactive hazard reporting. Support safety and continuous improvement initiatives, including ergonomic improvements. Assist with the safe introduction of new equipment and processes. Analyze incidents and accident data to identify potential safety risks. Support emergency response and workplace safety initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, or a related field preferred. 1-3 years of experience in a safety or related role. Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, particularly 29 CFR 1910. OSHA 30 certification required. CPR/First Aid certification required. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. Knowledge of

ISO 45001, ISO

14001, and

ISO 9001
