MUST BE LOCAL TO MIDLAND/ODESSA AREA - HSE COORDINATOR
About us Butch's Rat Hole and Anchor Service has been a trusted name in oilfield drilling preparation across the Permian Basin for decades. We specialize in rat hole, mouse hole, and conductor hole drilling, as well as anchor installation and related wellsite services. What You'll Do Conduct pre-job safety meetings, job hazard analyses (JHAs), and tailgate talks with field crews prior to each job Perform regular field visits and safety audits at active wellsites to observe work practices, equipment conditions, and compliance with company and customer HSE requirements Investigate incidents, near misses, and injuries; prepare written reports; identify root causes; and implement corrective actions Deliver safety training programs for new hires and existing employees, including PPE usage, H2S awareness, lockout/tagout, and driving safety Monitor and track company safety metrics (TRIR, DART, near-miss frequency) and report to management monthly What we're looking for HSE experience in oilfield services, drilling, or a related upstream oil and gas environment Working knowledge of
OSHA 29 CFR
1910 and 1926, DOT regulations and requirements applicable to oilfield operations Valid driver's license with clean MVR required Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to crews and interfacing with operator HSE personnel Ability to travel to wellsite locations ; must be comfortable working outdoors in variable weather conditions
