Job Description
Overview Join our team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver and become a vital part of our transportation services dedicated to safety, reliability, and exceptional customer care. In this energetic role, you will operate a 26ft Box Truck. Your expertise will help foster a positive experience for diverse groups of clients all across the country. Duties Safely operate a commercial vehicle ( 26ft Box Truck) in accordance with all traffic laws and transportation safety regulations. Transport different types of freight from point A to point B. Maintain communication with dispatchers using two-way radios or other communication devices to respond quickly to traffic changes or route adjustments. Conduct vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure mechanical safety, report any issues promptly, and perform basic mechanical knowledge checks. Complete detailed logs of trips, safety checks, and incident reports accurately and promptly. Demonstrate excellent customer service skills by engaging positively with shippers and receivers, addressing concerns professionally, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Skills Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Proven experience hauling freight. Knowledge of transportation safety regulations including emergency stop procedures, defensive driving techniques, and traffic law compliance. Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling equipment safely. Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus. Mechanical knowledge for routine vehicle inspections and troubleshooting minor issues confidently. Ability to respond quickly to traffic changes or emergencies.
