Job Description
The EHS Shift Technician is responsible for supporting Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) activities during the assigned shift. This role ensures compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and QEHS management systems while promoting a safe working environment. The position collaborates with operations, contractors, and vendors to reduce risk and maintain world-class safety standards.
Compensation & Schedule Starting Pay:
$35.25/hr.Schedule:
7am- 3:30pm; 3pm
- 11:30pm 10% shift differential; and 11pm
- 7:30am 5% differential Key Responsibilities Maintain site EHS procedures and records, including Powered Industrial Truck documentation.

policies and procedures. Provide EHS-related training to site employees. Assist with documentation and investigation of EHS-related incidents and events. Conduct audits of site activities to ensure compliance with EHS standards and procedures. Support ergonomic reviews of production equipment and processes and implement corrective actions as needed. Provide general support for site EHS initiatives and programs. Promote safe work practices and positive safety behaviors. QEHS System Responsibilities Support implementation and effectiveness of the QEHS Management System within assigned operational areas. Comply with QEHS standards, applicable legal requirements, and company policies. Participate in identifying and addressing risks and opportunities related to Environmental, Health & Safety and Quality Management Systems. Demonstrate leadership and proactive engagement in QEHS initiatives. Authority Authority to stop, escalate, and/or communicate any situation that may jeopardize the health and safety of employees, contractors, visitors, the environment, or product quality. Authority to report emergencies to appropriate staff, EHS, or Medical Services. Authority to recommend corrective and preventive actions related to EHS compliance and risk mitigation. Required Education & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent. 3-5 years of experience in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related discipline. Minimum of 3-5 years of EHS experience, including at least one year in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of federal and state Environmental, Health, and Safety regulations. Required Skills & Competencies Knowledge of risk identification and mitigation practices. Ability to conduct audits and ensure regulatory and procedural compliance. Strong problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently during assigned shift hours. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge ofISO 14001, ISO
45001, andISO 9001
management systems. Experience planning and implementing EHS programs. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and related EHS risks. Basic knowledge of ergonomics, industrial hygiene, and risk analysis methodologies. Experience with SAP and SharePoint systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Compensation The salary for this position has a range of $35.25- $35.
