Job Description
Under the supervision of the Medical Office Director, the Administrative Assistant performs duties as assigned that include receptionist, secretarial and operational duties for Occupational and Employee Health, while serving as the liaison between the patient, other staff and the physician. Requirements High school education or equivalent required One year general office support experience required Requires a basic understanding of general office routines and procedures with the ability to file accurately Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel; proficient with computers to include keyboarding, basic navigation and use of email (Outlook) Ability to work with multi-line phone and computer systems accurately and efficiently Effective customer service and relationship building skills with patients, visitors and staff; ability to respect dignity of all patients and follow HIPAA rules without breaches in confidentiality Ability to transcribe documents Proficient listening, verbal and written communication skills Some benefits of working at Augusta Health include: Generous paid time off to promote work life balance Free onsite parking Shift and weekend differentials Tuition reimbursement Onsite child care Company Information Augusta Health is a mission-driven, independent, nonprofit, community health system located in Fishersville Virginia in Virginia's scenic Shenandoah Valley.
