Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Industrial Hygienist to join our dynamic safety and environmental team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for identifying and evaluating environmental hazards that may affect the health and safety of employees, contractors, and/or occupants. This role conducts exposure assessments, performs environmental sampling, recommends corrective actions, and ensures compliance with applicable OSHA, EPA, state, and local regulations. Duties Conduct inspections to identify chemical, biological, and other environmental hazards. Collect air, surface, bulk, and water samples. Conduct mold assessments and moisture investigations. Evaluate respiratory hazards and determine appropriate controls. Coordinate laboratory analysis and interpret results. Document findings, exposure risks, and corrective actions. Maintain documentation and records of inspections, sampling data, and compliance activities. Recommend engineering, administrative, and personal protective equipment (PPE) controls. Develop exposure control plans and health and safety programs. Assist in implementing corrective actions for identified hazards. Monitor effectiveness of hazard mitigation measures. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to communicate technical information to clients and employees. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects. Physical Requirements Ability to work in industrial, construction, residential, and commercial environments. Ability to climb ladders, enter confined spaces, and wear respiratory protection when required. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Frequent short distance travel to project sites Typical Work Environment Industrial hygienists work in residential homes, manufacturing facilities, construction sites, commercial buildings, healthcare facilities, schools, and government buildings. Work includes office-based reporting as well as field investigations and sampling activities. Perform exposure assessments related to, but not limited to, dust, silica, asbestos, lead, mold, indoor air quality, and hazardous chemicals. Investigate employee health concerns and environmental complaints. Assess ventilation systems and engineering controls.

Experience Minimum:

High School diploma or

GED Preferred:

experience as an Industrial Hygienist, mold remediation contractor, water mitigation contractor, asbestos/lead abatement, or in a similar role. Familiarity with mold, asbestos, lead, indoor air quality, and construction-related hazards is highly desirable.
