About the Role As an Industrial Safety Professional, you will partner with project managers, supervisors, and craft professionals to identify hazards early, develop practical solutions, and strengthen Allfirst's safety culture. This is a visible field leadership role that combines compliance, coaching, inspections, training, investigations, and customer support. What You'll Do Perform field safety inspections and document practical corrective actions. Coach employees and supervisors on safe work practices. Conduct incident and near-miss investigations focused on learning and prevention. Deliver toolbox talks and safety training. Support confined space, hot work, fall protection and other high-risk activities. Coordinate with customers and project teams on safety expectations. Prepare clear reports and maintain documentation. Help protect schedules, customer confidence, and company reputation through proactive safety leadership. What Success Looks Like Employees know you are there to help them succeed safely—not simply to enforce rules. Hazards are corrected before they become incidents. Project managers involve you early because your recommendations are practical and keep work moving. Customers recognize Allfirst as a contractor that plans well, communicates well, and works safely. We're Looking For Someone Who Has at least five years of construction or industrial experience. Holds or can obtain
OSHA 30, EM 385-1
(40-hour), and
OSHA 500
within 6 months. Understands OSHA requirements and has working knowledge of DOT requirements. Communicates effectively with field personnel and customers. Can prepare professional reports using Microsoft Office. Can occasionally travel and work overtime as projects require. Equivalent combinations of experience, leadership, and technical knowledge will be considered. Why This Opportunity Is Different This is not a desk-bound compliance position.
