•__________________________________________________________________________________________ Job Description Role Overview The EHS Specialist is responsible for identifying workplace risks, preventing injuries and illnesses, promoting a proactive safety culture, and ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations. This role partners closely with operations and cross-functional teams to deliver training, conduct inspections, investigate incidents, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Must-Have Qualifications Experience identifying workplace risks, preventing injuries and illnesses, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations. Strong communication and safety training experience. Demonstrated ability to influence others and provide safety leadership without direct authority. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, EPA, and applicable state regulations. Experience with data analysis, safety metrics, and reporting. Experience conducting root cause analysis and making risk-based decisions. Bachelor's degree or an Associate's degree with 3+ years of relevant EHS experience. OSHA training credentials. Experience in risk management, global EHS programs, laboratory safety, manufacturing/operations, or construction safety.
