Redmond, Washington job type: Contract salary: $28.00 - 28.60 per hour work hours: 8 to 4 education: Associate responsibilities: Implement and monitor site EHS programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations. Conduct periodic safety inspections, manage safety equipment inventory, and oversee hazardous waste removal vendors. Lead engaging EHS training sessions, including emergency response and hazardous material handling, across multiple departments. Identify high-risk workplace hazards, recommend corrective action plans, and support industrial health compliance. Assist with worker's compensation administration and implement site-wide workplace ergonomics solutions.

qualifications:

Required:

Bachelor's degree OR Associate degree plus 3 years of EHS experience. OSHA training credentials. Proven track record of identifying risk, preventing injuries/illness, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Strong communication, training, and cross-functional leadership skills without direct authority.

Preferred:

Background in risk management, global EHS programs, laboratory safety, operations, or construction safety. Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, EPA, and state regulations. Expertise in root cause analysis, data analysis, and reporting.
