Occupational Health Consultant Resch Onsite Safety Solutions (ROSS) Resch Onsite Safety Solutions (ROSS) provides occupational health, injury-prevention, ergonomic, and early-intervention services within manufacturing environments. Our goal is to help employees remain healthy and productive while assisting employers in responding appropriately when discomfort or workplace incidents occur. We are seeking a personable and dependable healthcare professional to serve as an Occupational Health Consultant at one of our client's manufacturing facilities. Position Overview The Occupational Health Consultant works directly with employees and site leadership to provide early assessment, first-aid-level support, ergonomic guidance, injury-prevention education, and appropriate follow-up. This is an in-person position that requires spending time on the manufacturing floor, wellness room, learning job tasks, building relationships with employees, and collaborating with safety and management personnel. This position does not involve insurance billing or maintaining a traditional patient schedule. Primary Responsibilities Provide onsite evaluations for employees reporting musculoskeletal discomfort or minor workplace injuries Deliver appropriate musculoskeletal first-aid-level care within the consultant's professional scope Identify red, yellow, and green clinical indicators and recommend appropriate next steps Help determine when continued monitoring, job modification, outside medical evaluation, or emergency care may be appropriate Conduct consistent follow-up with employees and site leadership Observe manufacturing tasks and identify possible ergonomic or biomechanical concerns Recommend practical job modifications, stretches, warm-up activities, and injury-prevention strategies Educate employees on body mechanics, joint health, repetitive-motion concerns, and safe work practices Collaborate professionally with environmental health and safety personnel, supervisors, human resources, and ROSS leadership Maintain timely, accurate, and confidential documentation Participate in ROSS occupational-health and incident-management training Develop positive working relationships while remaining objective, professional, and respectful Qualifications Candidates should possess an active professional license or certification in a healthcare discipline relevant to musculoskeletal assessment and injury prevention.

Appropriate backgrounds may include:

Athletic Trainer Chiropractor Physical Therapist Occupational Therapist Physical Therapist Assistant Occupational Therapist Assistant Kinesiology or Health, Promotion and Wellness Degree Other qualified healthcare professional with applicable experience Additional qualifications include: Strong musculoskeletal assessment and communication skills Ability to work independently and make sound professional decisions Comfortable working in an active manufacturing environment Ability to communicate effectively with employees and company leadership Dependable, organized, approachable, and committed to consistent follow-up Willingness to learn occupational-health, ergonomics, and OSHA recordability concepts Current professional license or certification in good standing Occupational health, industrial rehabilitation, ergonomics, or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required Physical and Environmental Requirements The consultant must be able to walk through a manufacturing facility, observe employees performing job tasks, demonstrate basic movements and stretches, and comply with all required safety procedures. Personal protective equipment may include safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toe footwear. Why Join ROSS?
