We're growing and looking for a motivated Fire Extinguisher Technician to join our Milwaukee, WI team. This role includes cross-training in fire alarm and fire sprinkler inspections and offers great career opportunities. Target pay for this role is $18-25/hr, depending on experience Day to Day
- Inspect, test, maintain, and service fire extinguishers in accordance with NFPA standards and local codes.
- Identify deficiencies, document findings, and recommend corrective actions.
- Complete accurate electronic inspection reports, timesheets, and safety records.
- Use mobile technology and scheduling tools to manage service activities.
- Review findings with customers and deliver responsive, professional service.
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in safe working condition.
- Stay current on industry standards, fire protection technology, and safety practices. Experience Needed
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Previous fire extinguisher inspection, testing, maintenance, or service experience preferred.
- Experience with NFPA 10 requirements and portable fire extinguisher regulations is a plus.
- Strong communication, customer service, and documentation skills.
- General computer and tablet proficiency.
- A commitment to safety, integrity, accountability, and quality workmanship. Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working at heights, climbing ladders, using lifts, and navigating stairs.
