Type:

intern Our client, an industrial bakery , is looking to hire an Environmental, Health & Safety Intern in Oak Creek, WI .

Pay Rate Range:

$18-$20/hour

Responsibilities:

Assist with evaluating and developing Standard Work procedures. Support safety training and communication of process and procedure changes. Assist with job task time studies and documentation. Participate in weekly team meetings and provide project updates. Assist with GEMBA audits, incident investigations, Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), and ergonomic evaluations. Participate in safety committee activities and support safety initiatives related to bakery equipment and manufacturing. Assist with implementing Standard Work throughout the plant. Enter and analyze data in Excel and assist with creating productivity reports. Support various EHS projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Currently pursuing coursework in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Safety Management, or a related field. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with Adobe Acrobat. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment. Strong communication skills and willingness to work in both office and plant environments.
