Position Overview:

We are seeking a Security Support Specialist (Mid) to provide essential support for our client's security programs. This role involves managing and maintaining security processes, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and supporting personnel security initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of security policies and procedures. Support the conduct of background investigations, including coordination with investigative agencies. Manage security records and ensure accurate and timely updates. Provide technical support for security systems and applications. Conduct security awareness training and educate personnel on security best practices. Respond to security incidents and investigations as needed. Collaborate with other security team members to ensure comprehensive security coverage.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Information Security, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in security support or related roles. Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance required. Familiarity with federal security regulations and guidelines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with personnel security programs. Knowledge of Agile, DevOps, or DevSecOps methodologies. Experience with data analytics tools and techniques. Familiarity with cloud security solutions.
